Depositing to DogeChain
⬇️ Depositing $DOGE to Dogechain is entirely handled by smart contracts. Here’s a rough outline of the process:
Users deposit DOGE to deposit wallets that are linked to their Dogechain address.
The deposit initiates a minting process which sends a 1:1 ratio of wDOGE to the user’s Dogechain address.
How to Deposit
Go to https://bridge.dogechain.dog/bridge and connect your Metamask wallet
Sign the message
Once you have signed it, go to “Reveal address to send Dogecoin” and click “Confirm”.
Now you can go to Coinbase, Kucoin, Binance and many other exchanges that support withdrawals to DogeChain, and paste that address you just got from the bridge.
And that’s it, you will get your doge as wDoge, which is the Gas token for Dogechain. It will take some time, after 5 minutes you can check in the bridge at “Check My Account Transaction Status” that your transaction is being processed, then after like 10 minutes you will get your wDOGE on the chain, and you will see it at Metamask.
